GRASTIC is a next-generation bioplastic made from natural starch and bio-based polymers. It delivers the same mechanical performance as traditional plastics while being fully biodegradable and compostable under home and industrial conditions.

Every GRASTIC formulation is built from three engineering pillars — natural feedstocks, proprietary compounding, and precision additive control.

Bio-based Feedstocks

GRASTIC starts with plant-derived raw materials — corn starch as the primary matrix, combined with PLA (polylactic acid) and PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoates). These renewable polymers provide the structural backbone while ensuring full biodegradability.

Proprietary Compounding

Our patented polymerization process transforms raw biopolymers into thermoplastic starch (TPS) through controlled temperature and pressure cycles. This compounding stage determines mechanical strength, flexibility, and thermal resistance — tuned precisely for each application.

Additives & Formulation Control

Functional additives — calcium carbonates, plant-based proteins, and proprietary stabilizers — are blended at precise ratios to achieve target properties. With 15 formulations (GRASTIC 01–15) currently available and more in active development, we control moisture barrier, UV resistance, impact strength, and decomposition rate for each end-use application.
